It’s been a big year for Hamilton Group, with strong momentum across the business.
From construction, fitouts, leasing and property management, we’ve delivered new spaces, progressed major projects and welcomed new tenants.
It’s also been a rewarding year for our team, with new faces joining the business and key milestones celebrated along the way.
Here’s a snapshot of our year.
Commercial Construction Projects
Our commercial construction projects continue to bring new life to some of Geelong’s most iconic sites.
Projects currently underway include:
We’re proud of the work we’re doing to revitalise these buildings in Geelong. While these projects haven’t come without their challenges, each is progressing well, with a strong focus on preserving character while delivering functional, future-ready spaces.
As we move towards completing these projects, we’re also looking ahead to what’s next, with plans for new projects already underway in collaboration with Hamilton Clark.
Our pipeline includes:
- Pegasus Antiques, Newtown
- Fyansford Paper Mills, Fyansford
- Return Soldiers and Sailors, Newtown
Fitout Projects
Throughout the year, the Projects team has delivered a range of fitout projects across workplace, retail and hospitality sectors.
- Barwon Health Foundation, Geelong – Workplace
- Mast Lawyers, North Geelong – Workplace
- Ports Victoria, North Geelong – Workplace
- Company Spot, North Geelong – Workplace
- RB Sellars, North Geelong – Retail and workplace
- MexiCam’s Restaurant & Fiesta, North Geelong – Hospitality
- The Paddock Bakery x Barwon Health Foundation, Geelong – Hospitality
With a dedicated and growing Projects team, this continues to be an exciting area of focus as we expand our fitout offering.
Environmental & Sustainability
Sustainability remains a key focus across the business. We’re proud of our work in adaptive reuse, particularly across our heritage projects.
Other achievements in this space this year include:
- A new solar system installed at the Woolstore precinct at 400 Pakington Street in Newtown, generating approximately 150MW of clean energy each year and contributing to a significant reduction in emissions over its lifetime.
- Achieving ISO certification for the third consecutive year across three key areas – ISO 9001 for Quality Management, ISO 14001 for Environmental Management, and ISO 45001 for Occupational Health and Safety – reflecting our ongoing commitment to maintaining consistent standards across our projects.
Leasing & Property Management
The past year has seen continued activity across our property and leasing portfolio. A key part of Hamilton Group’s approach is once our projects are complete, we manage the properties and precincts long term.
The great thing about this approach is that it allows us to support tenants as they grow. An example this year is Mast Lawyers at Federal Mills, who expanded from Office 1 into a larger space in the Dining Hall, staying within the same precinct as their team grew.
New tenants this year include:
- RB Sellars @ Glass House
- TK Maxx @ Brights
- STRONG Pilates Geelong @ Woolstores
- Tetra Tech Coffey @1 Rutland
- MZ Commodities @ Federal Mills
- Hester Hornbrook Acadamy @ Brougham Street
- Loetis @ Rutland Street
We also have a number of leasing opportunities coming up across our current projects as they near completion:
- The Regent theatre on Little Malop suited to a flagship retail tenant
- Bright & Hitchcocks on Moorabool Street with tenancies available alongside flagship tenant TK Maxx
- Henderson’s in North Geelong next to Federal Mills offering premium office spaces

Community Partnerships
Supporting the local community remains an important part of what we do.
We were proud to support the River’s Gift Golf Day as a hole sponsor and host our annual Ron Dog Golf Classic in honour of our friend and former colleague, where half a day’s wages is donated to the Andrew Love Cancer Centre.
We continued our support of local sporting clubs, community groups, and our involvement with the Committee for Geelong and the Geelong Chamber of Commerce.
We also supported the City of Greater Geelong’s Women in Street Art program, with artist Jaz Mishap painting a mural on the rear of The Regent Theatre, visible from Union Street.
Looking forward
It’s been great to take a moment to reflect on the past year and everything that’s been achieved. We’ve continued to deliver spaces, support our tenants and invest in our community.
As we look ahead, we’re excited about what’s to come – there’s plenty in the pipeline and we can’t wait to share the progress. Follow us on LinkedIn and Instagram to stay across it.
