Opened in 1928 during the golden age of cinema, the Regent Theatre quickly became one of Geelong’s most prestigious entertainment venues. Designed by renowned architects Ballantyne & Wilson, the building is a standout example of Art Deco and Classical Revival architecture, known for its grand façade, arched window, and opulent interiors.
Now, this once-lost gem is being transformed into a high-quality commercial building, offering an exceptional opportunity for retail, office, or hospitality leasing in the heart of the Geelong CBD. Set for completion in late 2025, the project spans three levels plus a mezzanine and includes full structural restoration, feature windows, and modern upgrades—all while respecting the site’s rich heritage.
As part of our broader city-centre renewal—alongside Brights and Hitchcocks—the revitalised Regent Theatre will fuse iconic history with contemporary design.
Be part of Geelong’s next chapter—inside one of its most cherished landmarks.
