A family business, creating communities

In 1995, David & Heather Hamilton bet it all on the belief that Geelong businesses needed more cost-effective office space, so they transformed a former woolstore down the river end of Pakington St into the ‘Barwon Design Park’. As the site filled with many different small businesses and community organisations, they invested in a second site to keep up with demand. Fast forward to 2020 and sons; Cameron, wife Penny & Andrew now manage 18 different properties, housing over 100 organisations that employ almost 2,000 people in the Greater Geelong region.

Our family journey has ridden the ups-and-downs of Geelong as a city. With indepth local knowledge our group has continued to invest, evolve and enhance our offerings to the changing needs of local business and the opportunities of attracting new business to Geelong. We’ve dreamt big, taken risks, worked hard, thought outside the box and with a can-do attitude and an unwavering belief in Geelong. Today our family group has grown to include a network of local employees, trades, builders, planners, architects and investors.
